- Many thanks to everyone that came out to the Giant show the other weekend. Pretty sure we broke a new record for attendance. Nights like that make it worthwhile and I'm glad to see all ages shows do that well.

- However, a big fuck you to the kids who keep tagging the carwash next door. We've managed to do shows here for 2 years with no problems whatsoever with neighbors or police, and your pissing on it is not appreciated. If you know these kids please let them know you don't want them messing everything up for everyone else.

- We still have tickets for the Harvey Milk / Giant show Monday 3/10 at the Milestone. It will be the heaviest show this year.

Calabi Yau are from Charlotte, NC and have been together for a couple years. They are currently working on a new LP/CD for release on Alone Records sometime in this millenium. I'm bad at descriptions but they are easily the most inspiring band anywhere near Charlotte. Some weird combination of an upbringing listening to too much of the Skin Graft catalog with a little D.C. post-punk rhythm and melody. I offered to help put this out since they are my friends and rule. If you like fucked up no-wave style punk/hardcore/indie/whatever check it out.
